Our Beliefs Simply Put

We take the Bible, God, and church seriously.

We believe, use and defend the King James Bible. The Bible is our handbook and authority. If the Bible says it, we believe it. Therefore, we take a stand against sin, modern day cults, false religions, the home church movement, the charismatic movement and the ecumenical movement. We believe that the church is local, visible and not universal. It is not our place to change the idea of church, but to adhere to the concept of a church that Jesus Christ founded, loved and gave Himself for. We are not protestant based and do not trace our roots back to Catholicism. We are an independent church identifying as Baptists. However, we are in no way part of a denomination of churches, convention or association; again, the Bible is the authority. We believe in loving others and spreading the light of the gospel as Christ did. People constantly mention the loving atmosphere and say that we are, "the friendliest church they have ever attended." We believe the only hope for America is for Christians to take a stand, return to our roots as a nation and follow Christ. Every person at Bible Baptist Church can be defined in the same way, a sinner. The church is the perfect place for imperfect people to open a perfect Book and learn of a perfect God.

If you are in search of a 1st century church in the 21st century, this is it.
