Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What should I bring?

A: You are welcome to bring yourself, your family and friends. Also, bring your Bible – it will help you follow along with the pastor’s sermon.

Q: What should I wear?

A: There is not a dress code at Bible Baptist Church. You’ll find that many men wear dress clothes with a tie or bolo-tie and women wear dresses. We view the gathering of saints to worship God as a special occasion, and we dress accordingly. However, if you do not have a coat, tie or dress, wear what you have. We encourage everyone to dress in modest apparel to the glory of God.

Q: How long is each service?

A: Connection groups during the Sunday School hour start at 9:30am and end at 10:15am. The Sunday morning service starts at 10:30am and typically ends around 11:45am. The evening service starts at 6:00pm and typically ends around 7:15pm. The Wednesday Bible study starts at 7:00pm and tyipically ends at 8:05pm.

Q: What should I expect during the service?

A: The worship service is traditional consisting of hymns, choruses and Scripture songs. The service has music from our choir, special singing, prayer, Bible reading, and a message from God’s Word. The message is the highlight of the service – it will last approximately 40 minutes. It is always intended to explain God’s Word. The messages are Biblical in truth but practical and easy to apply to the 21st century.

Q: What about my children?

A: Nursery care is provided for children, infant through age 3. They will be welcomed into the nursery before or during the service. During the Sunday morning service we have Junior Church up to 6th grade. For more information about these programs, see the "ministries" tab of the website.

Q: Who do I see if I have a question?

A: Ushers and Greeters are located in front entry and rear of auditorium. They are available to answer any questions about where to go or what to do; they are never far away if needed.

Q: Am I expected to participate in the offering?

A: No. We don't invite you to Bible Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find a warm family spirit, Truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel oblicated to participate in the offering as a guest.
